PENTECOST HAS COME! It is a vital feast that commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles, empowering them to carry out Christ's mission and establishing the foundation of the Church. Catholics observe Pentecost with special Masses, prayer, and often processions, focusing on the themes of the Holy Spirit’s guidance, unity, and renewal of faith. It is considered the "birthday of the Church," making it a joyful and spiritually significant celebration for Catholics worldwide.

To celebrate Pentecost, join us for the Novena to the Holy Spirit. With nine days of prayers and reflections on the gifts of the Holy Spirit—wisdom, understanding, counsel, fortitude, knowledge, piety, and fear of the Lord—from our clergy and parishioners, we will pray for increased docility to the Holy Spirit and learn to embrace the fruit of the Spirit's work in our lives. The novena begins on Friday, May 15, and will conclude on Saturday, May 23.
