To everyone who visits St Barnabas’ Parish website, I say:
You are most welcome!
Soyez les bienvenus!
Our Lord Jesus Christ did not only announce his divine presence in the world by just being; but he welcomed, fed, taught, and healed all who came to him.
Similarly, this website is not only announcing the existence of St Barnabas Parish, but that through the published programmes and activities of the parish, all who visit it may feel welcomed, fed, taught and healed.
St Barnabas also surnamed as “son of encouragement” and the patron saint of the parish means a lot for all who browse this website since they will certainly derive some encouragement from it.
Our parish is a vibrant multi-ethnic and international welcoming faith community. It is open to everybody. Although it is sited outside the main and major roads of Agbogba, it is easy to locate it. In the spirit of St Barnabas, I encourage all who visit our website and yet are not parishioners to join us from time to time for Mass, prayer, and all other parish activities.
We are truly a welcoming and solidarizing church, where everyone is valued, accepted, tolerated, respected, made to feel at home, cared for, and encouraged to join any of our groups and societies so as to feel more and more belonged. This is the church that sees all her visitors as her fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, and by extension, members of the Universal Church.
On the strength of this, I welcome all of you to St Barnabas’ Parish website.
God bless you.
